New York Red Bulls II aims to string together back-to-back wins on Saturday, May 14 when they host Richmond Kickers at Red Bull Arena at 4 p.m.

Coverage of the match will begin at 4 p.m. on NewYorkRedBulls.com/Live. David Gass will provide play-by-play alongside analyst Heath Pearce.

Red Bulls II currently stands in third place of the Eastern Conference with a 4-1-2 record. New York has one game in hand on Charlotte Independence and leaders Louisville City FC.

This is the first of two head-to-head meetings between the clubs in 2016 and their fourth all-time. Last season, New York lost the season series, 1-2-0.

Red Bulls II defeated Pittsburgh Riverhounds last weekend, 3-1, to improve their perfect road record to 3-0-0 this season. NYRB II is 1-1-2 at home through four games. In their last home game, they suffered their first loss of the season against Charlotte Independence.

Stefano Bonomo scored the game-winning goal and his first of the season last weekend against Pittsburgh. It was the forward’s second game-winner of his career and fourth goal in two USL seasons.

Derrick Etienne Jr. was named to the Week 7 USL Team of the Week Bench for his performance against the Riverhounds. The midfielder scored his second goal of the season on the volley of a Junior Flemmings cross. Etienne Jr. is the only Red Bulls II player on the current roster to have scored against Richmond in 2015.

Richmond will play their third game in eight days on Saturday at Red Bull Arena. After a win last weekend against Wilmington Hammerheads FC, the Kickers fell on Wednesday at Toronto FC II, 1-0.

Last season, Jason Yeisley and Brian Ownby combined to score five goals against New York. Midfielder Yudai Imura leads Richmond in scoring with three goals and one assist.
