New York Red Bulls II remained undefeated in road games and extended its unbeaten streak to three matches with a dramatic late winner against FC Montreal last weekend.
New York Red Bulls II is back in action this weekend as part of a Red Bull Arena double header. NYRB II will face the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at 10 p.m., after the New York Red Bulls face Toronto FC in MLS action at 7 p.m.
Admission to the Red Bulls II match is available to fans with tickets to the MLS match.
NYRB II Road Warriors Maintain Road Perfection
New York Red Bulls II defeated FC Montreal, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon on a late goal from Junior Flemmings. NYRB II improves to 5-1-3 on the season, and remains a perfect 4-0-0 on the road this season.

After a hard-fought game, Flemmings was able to find the back of the net in the 90th minute, finishing off a long cross from Konrad Plewa on the right wing.
Ryan Meara, on loan from MLS, earned the shutout. The clean sheet was the goalkeeper's third of the season.
Riverhounds Rematch
Red Bulls II returns home to Red Bull Arena for their second and final meeting of the 2016 USL season against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. New York is 2-1-0 all-time in the regular season versus the Riverhounds.
NYRB II won their previous game against Pittsburgh on the road, 3-1. The match was overshadowed by Romeo Parkes kicking Karl Ouimette in the back after both players were issued red cards. Since the incident, Parkes had his contract terminated by Pittsburgh and has been suspended for the remainder of the USL season.
Anatole Abang, Stefano Bonomo and Derrick Etienne Jr. all scored in the game on May 7. Junior Flemmings earned one assist while Justin Bilyeu recorded two helpers, including the game-winning assist.
Konrad Plewa Named to USL Team of the Week
New York Red Bulls II defender Konrad Plewa has been named to the Week Nine USL Team of the Week for his performance against FC Montreal.

Plewa, a native of Maniowy, Poland, earned the game-winning assist in the 90th minute on Saturday to earn Red Bulls II its fourth road victory of the season. The defender has played eight games this season, logging 590 minutes, and has played in all five of NYRB II’s clean sheets this season.
NYRB II Notes
- Junior Flemmings leads the league with three assists. The forward is tied with Brandon Allen on seven points, which leads the team.
- Goalkeeper Ryan Meara earned his third shutout of the season against Montreal. He made one save in the game and has a 0.58 Goals Against Average this season.
- Ryan Meara (at LOU, vs. BST, at MTL) and Rafael Diaz (vs. ROC, at WIL) have combined to record five shutouts this season.
- New York is tied with Louisville City FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC for the best goal differential in USL. Red Bulls II has scored 14 goals and allowed six goals through nine games this season.
- Newcomer David Najem made his NYRB II debut as a 90th minute substitute vs. Montreal. Zach Carroll, who played for NYRB II on loan from the Red Bulls earlier this season, played his first game since signing a USL contract last week.
