HARRISON, N.J. (March 14, 2019) – The New York Red Bulls begin their 10th MLS home slate at Red Bull Arena against the San Jose Earthquakes, presented by Speedway, on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage on Univision, Univision Deportes Network, Twitter and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
All of fans will receive a schedule magnet, presented by Speedway, as they head into Red Bull Arena.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will have the Spanish play-by-play, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
New York opens their 2019 home slate against Western Conference foe San Jose Earthquakes. The Red Bulls have not lost a match against the Earthquakes at Red Bull Arena since it was built in 2010 (4-0-2). The last time these two teams squared off at RBA was on July 19, 2017 with New York earning a 5-1 win, including four different scorers.
The Red Bulls have held serve at RBA against Western Conference opponents over the last two seasons. New York has lost just once in the previous 13 matches (10-1-2) against teams from the West at RBA and has outscored their opponents, 29-9, during the stretch.
Two of MLS’ scoring legends in Bradley Wright-Phillips and Chris Wondolowski will face off on Saturday. Wondolowski and Wright-Phillips are first and third in active MLS Regular-Season goals all-time at 144 and 106, respectively. Wondolowski is just two goals shy of breaking MLS’ all-time goal record set by Landon Donovan (145).
