EAST HANOVER (November 19, 2019) – The New York Red Bulls U-13’s, U-14’s, U-15’s, and U-17’s are set to host PA Classics in the last home match for the fall season at Red Bulls Training Facility in East Hanover on Saturday.
It will be the first meeting of the season between the two clubs. The U-13’s and U-15’s will kick off at 10 a.m. ET, with the U13’s playing on the turf field, while the U-15’s will play on the upper grass field. The U-14’s and U-17’s will follow after them, with the second kick-off set for 12 p.m. ET.
The U-13’s are 6-5-0 on the season, winning three out of their last four matches. Zidane Yanez has a team high eight goals on the year. Pennsylvania Classics U-13's are 5-6-1, they are coming off a 5-0 loss to Philadelphia Union.
The U-14’s are unbeaten this fall season, with a 7-0-2 record. Patrick Shaw and Henry Weston have been the leading goal scorers, with Shaw having 10 and Weston putting in six. Pennsylvania Classics U-14’s has a 1-7-6 record, most recently losing to Philadelphia Union, 4-2.
The U-15’s are currently 7-1-1, with 24 goals scored. They are currently on a three-match winning streak. Luciano Sanchez leads the team with seven goals scored in nine matches. Pennsylvania Classics U-15's are 2-7-0 on the season, most recently losing to Philadelphia Union, 7-1.
The U-17’s have compiled a 4-2-3 record this fall season. Thomas Tulgar, Kenny Hot, and Roald Mitchell are tied for the team lead in goals scored with three. Pennsylvania Classics U-17’s is 0-7-1 on the season and are seeking their first win.
The matches will be used for preparation for December tournaments, which include the U-14’s participating in the ICC Futures tournament on December 11. The U-17’s and U-19’s will be preparing for the DA Cup Playoffs.
