INSIDE THE 18: Bradley Carnell's First Starting XI -

Interim Head Coach Bradley Carnell has his first match in charge of the New York Red Bulls on Sunday night vs. Philadelphia Union.

Carnell will deploy a new starting back line, with Mandela Egbo, Tim Parker, Amro Tarek and Kyle Duncan in front of Ryan Meara in goal.

New York is unbeaten in the last five matches against Philadelphia at Red Bull Arena in the regular season (3-0-2) and have not allowed a goal to the Union in the last three games at RBA.

Cristian Cásseres Jr., Florian Valot, Kaku, Jared Stroud and Daniel Royer make up the midfield, while Tom Barlow starts up top.

Royer recorded his 100th career MLS regular-season appearance on Wednesday. Royer has tallied 36 goals and 14 assists in 7,156 minutes played. He has tallied 10-plus goals in his three previous seasons with New York and currently has one goal and one assist in eight matches played.

Carnell will have nine players available for five substitutions: Samuel Tetteh, Sean Nealis, Dru Yearwood, Ben Mines, Omir Fernandez, Jason Pendant, Brian White and Mathias Jørgensen. David Jensen will serve as backup goalkeeper.

Tetteh makes his first matchday roster since joining the club on loan. Yearwood makes the roster for the second time, but did not feature in the match vs. D.C. United.

Sean Davis, Aaron Long and Marc Rzatkowski are all held out of the lineup with injuries.

Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
