Bradley Wright-Phillips has hit a career milestone with the New York Red Bulls.

The prolific goal-scoring Englishman, sporting 99 on his back, scored goal No. 99 across all competitions for the Red Bulls.

Wright-Phillips' 99th goal came early in the Knockout Round match vs. the Chicago Fire after he broke into the box and beat the keeper to slot it home.

BWP has scored 86 regular season MLS goals, eight MLS playoff goals, four goals in the U.S. Open Cup and once in the CONCACAF Champions League.

He set new franchise records for career goals in MLS and across all competitions last season. He passed Juan Pablo Angel’s mark across all competitions in one less game and 776 fewer minutes played.

In 2016, BWP set new franchise records for career multi-goal games (16), game-winning goals (20) and hat tricks (4).

New York was 10-0-6 on the season when Wright-Phillips scored a goal in 2016. New York is 11-5-2 (9-4-2 in MLS / 2-1-0 in Open Cup) when Wright-Phillips has scored a goal this season.

Wright-Phillips stands third among active MLS players, behind Chris Wondolowski (133) and Kei Kamara (98), who are tied for third and 10th all-time, respectively.

The forward has tallied a goal in seven of New York’s last 13 MLS matches.
