INSIDE THE 18: New York Red Bulls Ready To Take On Revolution

The New York Red Bulls are on the road to take on the New England Revolution on Saturday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.

Kicking off at 2:30 PM ET, New York will see Carlos Coronel return to his starting role after a match away for international duty.

Emil Forsberg, fresh off a game-winning brace, captains the side, with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Wiki Carmona pushing the attack.

Forsberg scored his third-career MLS multi-goal game for New York. Forsberg has recorded eight goal contributions in his last eight MLS regular season games.

Carmona made his first start of the season in New York’s 2-1 win over Toronto FC. Carmona has recorded three career goal contributions against the New England Revolution.

The local pairing of Peter Stroud and Daniel Edelman look to anchor the central midfield.

Raheem Edwards, Noah Eile, Alexander Hack, Sean Nealis and Dylan Nealis are on the pitch for the opening whistle.

The Red Bulls have posted a 4-2-0 mark in their last six MLS regular season matches against New England. New York is currently on a four-match unbeaten streak.

Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will have Wiktor Bogacz, Ronald Donkor, Julian Hall, Aiden Jarvis, Serge Ngoma, Tim Parker, Mohammed Sofo and Omar Valencia available off the bench. A.J. Marcucci will serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Cameron Harper, Roald Mitchell, Marcelo Morales, Lewis Morgan, Kyle Duncan and Dennis Gjengaar remain sidelined. Felipe Carballo will miss the match due to a red card.
