Ashley Fletcher will make his first start in MLS for Gerhard Struber's New York Red Bulls side on Saturday evening vs. FC Dallas.

Fletcher starts in front of Omir Fernandez, Luquinhas and Lewis Morgan.

Luquinhas made his first career MLS start against CF Montréal at Red Bull Arena on April 9. The Ceilandia, Brazil native registered in his first career MLS assist in the match on Fernandez’s goal in the 14th minute.

Frankie Amaya returns to the lineup following a suspension, and is paired with Cristian Cásseres Jr. in the defensive midfield.

John Tolkin, Aaron Long, Sean Nealis and Tom Edwards make up the defense, with Carlos Coronel starting in goal.

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs since May 11, 2019, where New York won, 3-1, at Toyota Stadium. Nealis scored his first career MLS goal in the match, which was the game-winner.

Struber will have Tom Barlow, Daniel Edelman, Patryk Klimala, Lucas Monzón, Dylan Nealis, Zach Ryan and Dru Yearwood available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG+, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
