Summer signing Elias Manoel has been tabbed to make his first start for the Red Bulls as they take on CF Montreal at Stade Saputo on Wednesday night.
He will have Lewis Morgan, Luquinhas and Omir Fernandez behind him, along with Daniel Edelman and Cristian Cásseres Jr..
This is Edelman's fourth consecutive start for New York. He tallied his first career MLS goal on Saturday in the 3-1 victory over Inter Miami.
Without John Tolkin and Kyle Duncan, who are out due to yellow card accumulation and a red card, respectively, Cameron Harper and Dylan Nealis enter the starting lineup.
With Aaron Long on the bench, Nealis will wear the captain's armband.
Carlos Coronel starts in goal.
Along with Long, Ryan Meara, Steven Sserwadda, Dru Yearwood, Wiki Carmona, Caden Clark, and Tom Barlow make up New York's bench.
