The Brazilian will start alongside Omir Fernandez and Lewis Morgan in pushing the ball forward, while Patryk Klimala starts up top.

John Tolkin, Aaron Long, Sean Nealis and Tom Edwards start on the back line, with Carlos Coronel in goal.
Last time out, Coronel registered his 15th career MLS clean sheet and his 14th with the Red Bulls. He recorded five saves in the match, which is a season high. The last clean sheet Coronel recorded at Red Bull Arena was the last time New York battled Montreal on October 30, 2021.
The bench will feature two backup goalkeepers, Ryan Meara and AJ Marcucci, as well as Tom Barlow, Daniel Edelman, Ashley Fletcher, Lucas Monzón, Dylan Nealis and Zach Ryan.
Frankie Amaya will miss the match after receiving a second yellow card in the match vs. New England. Caden Clark, Serge Ngoma remain sidelined with injuries.
