The New York Red Bulls face off against FC Cincinnati in the first game of a Best-of-3 Round 1 matchup in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs.

The Red Bulls will have Carlos Coronel in goal, with John Tolkin, Sean Nealis, Andrés Reyes and Kyle Duncan in front of him.

The Red Bulls defeated FC Cincinnati, 2-1, on October 4 at TQL Stadium, where midfielder Frankie Amaya scored against his former club.

Dru Yearwood and Frankie Amaya look to lock down the defensive midfield. Luquinhas and Omir Fernandez push the attack, with Elias Manoel and Tom Barlow starting up top.

Manoel scored a hat-trick in New York’s 5-2 win over Charlotte and became the first Red Bulls player in franchise history to record a hat-trick in a playoff match. Manoel also became the sixth player in MLS Cup playoffs history to record a hat trick and the first since Jordan Morris on October 19, 2019. The Brazilian forward scored the game-winning goal against FC Cincinnati in their 2-1 win on October 4.

Head Coach Troy Lesesne will have Serge Ngoma, Jorge Cabezas Hurtado, Cameron Harper, Wiki Carmona, Daniel Edelman, Peter Stroud, Dylan Nealis and Ryan Meara.

The Red Bulls are coming off a 5-2 win against Charlotte FC in the Wild Card match. The five goals are the most goals scored in a playoff match in franchise history. New York are unbeaten in their last four road matches, including three-straight road victories.

Dante Vanzeir, Lewis Morgan, Cory Burke and Hassan Ndam remain sidelined.
