The New York Red Bulls are looking to win on the road for the second time in two matches to open their 2022 season in grand fashion.
New York will deploy a slightly different lineup for Week 2, as Cristian Cásseres Jr. will miss the match with an injury.Â
The Red Bulls will see Patryk Klimala, Tom Barlow, Omir Fernandez and Lewis Morgan lead the attack forward at BMO Field in Toronto.
Klimala, Barlow and Fernandez all scored in Week 1 vs. San Jose, with Morgan tallying an assist.
Klimala became the 27th different player in 27 seasons to score the first goal of the season for New York. The Polish striker scored the last time New York played Toronto, which was his first career match against the club.
Dru Yearwood and Frankie Amaya will anchor the defensive midfield.
Dylan Nealis will make his second Red Bulls start, alongside his brother Sean, as well as Aaron Long and John Tolkin.
Carlos Coronel will start in goal for New York, looking to notch his second win of the year.
The Red Bulls will have Tom Edwards on the bench for the first time this season, along with Caden Clark, Daniel Edelman, Lucas Mónzon, Serge Ngoma and Zach Ryan. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.
