The New York Red Bulls will open their home slate on Sunday night against Minnesota United FC.
Since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010, the Red Bulls have posted a 9-2-2 mark in their home openers. The club has scored 22 goals in those matches, while only allowing nine.
Designated Player Luquinhas, recently arrived in the US and cleared to play, will be available off the bench for New York.
Head Coach Gerhard Struber will roll with a similar lineup to the team's 4-1 victory in the previous match, with the addition of Tom Edwards to the Starting XI.
Edwards will line up alongside Aaron Long, Sean Nealis, Dylan Nealis and John Tolkin in defense.
Frankie Amaya and Dru Yearwood will lock down the defensive midfield.
Omir Fernandez, Lewis Morgan and Patryk Klimala lead the attack.
Morgan recorded his first professional hat trick on Saturday, March 5 against Toronto FC, which is the first hat trick for the Red Bulls since Bradley Wright-Phillips scored a hat trick against D.C. United on September 6, 2018.
Carlos Coronel will start in goal.
Luquinhas will be available off the bench, as well as Tom Barlow, Caden Clark, Daniel Edelman, Lucas Monzón, Serge Ngoma and Zach Ryan. Ryan Meara will serve as backup goalkeeper.
