InsideThe18_16x9

The New York Red Bulls are down in D.C. to take on United on Saturday evening amidst the raindrops.

Carlos Coronel starts in goal for New York. John Tolkin, Sean Nealis, Andrés Reyes and Kyle Duncan start along the backline.

The last time New York faced off against D.C. United, Tolkin scored a goal on a direct free kick in the 89th minute to lead New York to a 1-0 victory on Sunday, August 20 at Red Bull Arena. New York have won five of the last six Atlantic Cups against D.C. United.

Omir Fernandez, Frankie Amaya, Cameron Harper and Daniel Edelman get the start in midfield.

The Red Bulls defense has held D.C. United scoreless in their last three matches against each other. New York has only allowed 80 shots on goal this year, which ranks the lowest in MLS and they have only surrendered 34 MLS goals, which is tied for the sixth lowest in MLS.

Tom Barlow and Elias Manoel start up top for RBNY in the Atlantic Cup matchup.

The Red Bulls have held their opponents to less than 10 shots in 24 of their 29 matches this season, which is the most in MLS for a single season since Opta began collecting data of MLS in 2010.

Head Coach Troy Lesesne has Julian Hall, Jorge Cabezas Hurtado, Luquinhas, Dru Yearwood, Peter Stroud, Hassan Ndam, Dylan Nealis and Ryan Meara available off the bench.

Hall, 15, is making his first matchday roster following his Homegrown contract inked earlier this month.

Dante Vanzeir, Serge Ngoma, Wiki Carmona and Steve Sserwadda are sidelined due to injuries. Cory Burke is held out of the matchday roster
