The New York Red Bulls will look to keep their home undefeated streak alive, as the Vancouver Whitecaps FC come to Red Bull Arena riding a three-match winning streak on the road.
New York will see Carlos Coronel start in goal, with John Tolkin, Sean Nealis, Noah Eile and Dylan Nealis getting the nod for the opening whistle.
This will be the 11th overall regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and Vancouver, with the Whitecaps holding the advantage with a 3-2-5 mark
Lewis Morgan and Dante Vanzeir push the attack, with both battling to be at the top of the MLS stats for goals and assists, respectively.
New York are currently unbeaten in their last six home matches across all competitions and are currently on a five-match unbeaten streak in league play.
Emil Forsberg, Dennis Gjengaar, Wiki Carmona and Daniel Edelman will work in the midfield.
Forsberg scored his second goal of the season this past weekend and his first since March 9 against FC Dallas at Red Bull Arena. Forsberg has tallied four goal contributions this season, which ranks third in the club. The Swedish international has made seven appearances this season and has recorded two goals and two assists in his last five matches played.
Off the bench, Head Coach Sandro Schwarz will have Cory Burke, Elias Manoel, Julian Hall, Frankie Amaya, Bento Estrela, Cameron Harper, Kyle Duncan, Aidan O’Connor and Ryan Meara available.
Estrela makes his first matchday roster.
