Daniel Edelman and Serge Ngoma will both make their first MLS starts on Sunday night in Texas as the New York Red Bulls play Austin FC for the first time.
The Red Bulls have the second-most road wins in MLS this season with six and have earned 121 road wins in franchise history, which is the second most in MLS history.Ā
Ngoma will start alongside Caden Clark and Omir Fernandez in the attacking midfield, with Patryk Klimala starting up top.
Edelman starts alongside Dru Yearwood in the defensive midfield.
New York have only allowed 11 goals on the road this season, which ranks tied for the fourth lowest in MLS.Ā
John Tolkin, Aaron Long, Sean Nealis and Tom Edwards start along the backline, with Carlos Coronel in goal.
Nealis has won 88 aerial duels this season, which ranks tied for the second most in MLS this season.
Head Coach Gerhard Struber will have AndrƩs Reyes, Dylan Nealis, Cristian CƔsseres Jr., Frankie Amaya, Cameron Harper, Luquinhas, Lewis Morgan and Tom Barlow available off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as backup goalkeeper.
Morgan has scored nine MLS goals this season, which ranks tied for second among active MLS midfielders this season. Morgan has recorded five of those on the road, which is tied for the third most in MLS alongside Driussi. The Scottish winger has recorded a goal or an assist in back-to-back road matches.
