Red Bulls midfielder Lewis Morgan scored his seventh goal of the season in New York’s 1-1 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps on April 27. Morgan’s seven goals leads the club and ranks tied for fourth in MLS. He has now scored 21 career MLS goals with New York, which ranks tied for third with Dane Richards for most MLS goals scored by a midfielder in franchise history. In New York’s last match against Miami on March 23, Morgan scored a hat-trick in the Red Bulls 4-0 victory and became the fourth player in franchise history to record multiple hat-tricks with the club.
