Second-half goals from Frankie Amaya and Wiki Carmona helped propel the Red Bulls to another three points at home against an Eastern Conference rival.
New England appeared to have a late equalizer with one of the final kicks of the match, but were denied a chance to salvage a point when VAR deemed that a player impeded goalkeeper Carlos Coronel's vision from an offside position.
The Red Bulls are now 5-2-4 at home in MLS league play and undefeated in six of seven home matches across all competitions.
