New York Red Bulls Defender Curtis Ofori Named to Ghana U-20 National Team Roster for March Window

New York Red Bulls defender Curtis Ofori has been named to the Ghana U-20 National Team roster for the March FIFA International Window.

Ofori, 19, is in third season with the Red Bulls. Over the last two seasons, Ofori has made 41 professional appearances with New York Red Bulls II, where he has made 25 starts and logged 2,270 minutes played. The defender is the youngest signing in Red Bulls II history at 15 years, 122 days old.

The Hopewell Junction, N.Y. native is receiving his first call-up to the Ghana U-20 National Team. Ofori has received various United States Youth National Team call-ups, including the U-19’s in April of 2024.

Ofori and Ghana U-20’s are participating in a mini tournament from March 17 to 25 in preparation for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. The U-20’s will be in Group A of the U-20 Africa Up of Nations and are scheduled to face Cote D’Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and one team from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFAC).
