HARRISON, N.J. (October 7, 2022) – The New York Red Bulls Academy has announced the rosters for its teams for the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season.
112 players will comprise the five teams that the Academy will field this season in the Under-12, Under-13, Under-14, Under-15, and Under-17 age groups.
Last season, the U-15’s made it to the Quarterfinals of the U-15 MLS NEXT Cup, defeating Orlando City SC and New York City FC in the first two rounds. The U-17’s also made a run to the Quarterfinals, defeating IMG Academy and Players Development Academy.
Six players that will be on this season’s U-17 roster have seen professional minutes with New York Red Bulls II in USL Championship. Nathan Worth, Bento Estrela, Davi Alexandre, Erick Ruiz, Arian Recinos, and Alan Rutkowski have combined for 32 appearances and 16 starts, spanning 1,582 minutes.
