Ronaldo knows a thing or two about scoring goals – he's got 15 of them in the World Cup, after all, a joint record (for now).
So when the Brazilian legend highlighted New York Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill's stunning volley in Australia's group stage loss against the Netherlands (WATCH HERE) as one of the top goals of the tournament, it was good reason to sit up and take notice.
“It was the best goal of the World Cup and it’s going to go down in history as one of the most beautiful World Cup goals,” Ronaldo is quoted as saying.
Cahill's is one of a handful of spectacular strikes fans have seen in the tournament, also including Robin Van Persie's diving header against Spain, also in the group stage, and James Rodriguez's chest and volley against Uruguay in the round of 16.
