COLLEGE EXPERIENCE
O'Connor was a two-year letterman at the University of Virginia, where he made 31 career appearances and recorded one goal and two assists. In his senior year, he played in 17 matches and helped post six shutouts. He led the Cavaliers to an NCAA Sweet-16 appearance in his senior year and was named to the 2022 All-ACC Academic Team. Prior to Virginia, O'Connor played two seasons with Western Michigan University, where he made 22 appearances and recorded two goals.

New York Red Bulls selected Aidan O'Connor with the 12th pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft. O'Connor signed a one-year MLS contract through 2024 with an option for 2025, 2026, and 2027, on January 26, 2024.
