With Argentinian legends like Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Javier Mascherano in attendance, New York Red Bull midfielders Caden Clark and Daniel Edelman contributed to the U.S Under-20 men's national team's 2-2 draw against Argentina's U-20 national team.
Clark started the match, while Edelman came on as a substitute as the Americans were on track for the victory, but were the victims of a late equalizer.
The two New York midfielders were among twelve total current MLS players called up for the friendly matches in Argentina.
Clark has featured for U.S Youth National teams starting with the U-14's, and captained the U-20 team against Colombia in the 2021 Revelations Cup, scoring a penalty kick in the 35th minute.
Edelman, a homegrown signee for the Red Bulls, also appeared twice in the Revelations Cup, including one start.
The USMNT U-20's close out its camp against Argentinian top-flight side River Plate on March 29, and will then look ahead to this summer's Concacaf U-20 Championship.
