Cristian Cásseres Jr. is part of José Peseiro’s Venezuela’s National Team 40-man Preliminary World Cup qualifying roster, ahead of their games against Colombia and Paraguay.
With this call-up, Cásseres Jr. receives his first senior National Team call-up.
Peseiro is scheduled to make a final cut to this list before Venezuela takes on Colombia in Barranquilla on October 9 and Paraguay in Mérida on October 13.
Other Venezuelan players that currently play in MLS and made the 40-man roster include: Miguel Navarro, Rolf Feltscher, Junior Moreno, José Martínez, Renzo Zambrano and Jhonder Cádiz.
The 20-year-old midfielder from Caracas has played 848 minutes this season.
