New York Red Bulls midfielder Cristian Cásseres Jr. has been named to the Venezuela World Cup qualifier team for a pair of matches on June 3 and June 8.
Venezuela will take on Bolivia on June 3, then host Uruguay on June 8.
The 21-year-old has appeared four times for Venezuela, making his national team debut on October 9, 2020 in a World Cup qualifier game against Colombia.
Cásseres, Jr. tallied his third goal of the season and his second at Red Bull Arena this season, scoring off a free kick from 20 yards out vs. Orlando City SC.
The Red Bulls return to action on Friday, June 18 at Red Bull Arena, playing host to Nashville SC.
