New York Red Bulls midfielder Cristian Cásseres Jr. is with Venzuela as they round out their World Cup Qualifier schedule.
Cásseres Jr. started and played 62 minutes as Vinotinto fell to Lionel Messi and Argentina, 3-0.
As Cásseres departed the match, the score was 1-0, following a first half goal from Nicolás González. Ángel Di Maria and Messi went on to score late in the match to en route to the 3-0 scoreline.
