New York Red Bulls midfielder Derrick Etienne, Jr., started and added an assist for Haiti in their 2-1 Concacaf Nations League victory over St. Lucia on Tuesday night.
Etienne, Jr., started on the left wing, assisting the first goal of the game with a run down the sideline before serving it into the box for the eventual goal in the 12th minute.
He played the full 90 in the rain, which saw Haiti go up 2-0 after 33 minutes, before Saint Lucia added a goal in the 43rd minute.
Etienne and Haiti are now 2-0-0, with a +14 goal differential through two matches.
Haiti is back in action on November 17 against Nicaragua for the next round of Nations League play.
