Derrick Etienne Jr. started and played 75 minutes in Haiti's 2-1 loss to Chile in a tuneup match before the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup kicks off.
Haiti held the lead after scoring in the 26th minute, but back-to-back goals from Chile in the 69th and 71st minutes downed Etienne's side.
Etienne and Haiti kick off their Gold Cup competition on Sunday, June 16 vs. Bermuda. They play again against Nicaragua on Thursday, June 20 and Costa Rica, at Red Bull Arena, on Monday, June 24.
