Derrick Etienne Jr. scored, helping Haiti secure a 2-0 victory and a ticket to the Gold Cup Quarterfinals.
Etienne got the ball down the wing in the 34th minute, cut into the 18, pulled the ball back behind his legs and shot, deflecting the ball off a defender and into the back of the neck. Etienne's goal made it 2-0, following a goal in the 22nd minute.
Haiti, after two games, have six points and will move on to the Quarterfinals. They'll play Costa Rica, who will also move on to the Quarterfinals, in their final Group Stage match at Red Bull Arena on Monday, June 24.
