Hassan Ndam gets the start for the New York Red Bulls as they take on FC Cincinnati on Wednesday at Red Bull Arena.
Ndam starts in place of Andrés Reyes, who will miss the due to yellow card accumulation.
The Red Bulls have posted a 5-2-3 mark at Red Bull Arena this season including two-straight victories, coming against Atlanta United FC and New England Revolution.
Cameron Harper, Sean Nealis and Kyle Duncan join Ndam on the backline, with Carlos Coronel starting in goal.
Dante Vanzeir and Tom Barlow push the attack, with Omir Fernandez and Luquinhas joining them.Â
Fernandez has recorded an assist in three-straight matches and has now recorded 12 in his MLS career.
Daniel Edelman and Frankie Amaya look to lock down the defensive midfield.
Amaya recorded the first goal in New York’s 2-1 victory over New England on July 8. Amaya has recorded a goal or an assist in three-straight matches, he has posted three goals and two assists through that time.
Head Coach Troy Lesesne will have Elias Manoel, Wiki Carmona, Ronald Donkor, Ibrahim Kasule, Matt Nocita, Jayden Reid, Peter Stroud and Ryan Meara available off the bench. Kasule was signed to a short-term agreement for the next two matches.
Dru Yearwood remains sidelined, as well as Dylan Nealis, Lewis Morgan, Steven Sserwadda and Serge Ngoma are out.
