New York Red Bulls forward Tanner Rosborough has been selected to the United States U-17 National Team roster for the upcoming U-17 CONCACAF Qualifiers, the federation announced today. This will be Rosborough’s first selection to the U.S. U-17’s.

Rosborough, 16, is entering his first season with the New York Red Bulls after spending the previous two seasons with New York Red Bulls II. The forward made 25 MLS NEXT Pro appearances and recorded seven goals and three assists. In 2024, Rosborough appeared in 23 matches, where he scored seven goals. He scored a goal in five-straight matches, which is the second-longest goal scoring streak in franchise history. He scored his first career MLS NEXT Pro goal on June 30, 2024, against Columbus Crew 2 and he became the fourth youngest goal scorer in franchise history at 16 years, 101 days old.

The Pittsburgh, PA native has made eight appearances for the United States Youth National Teams at the U-15 and U-16 level. Rosborough scored two goals in six matches to help the United States clinch the U-15 CONCACAF Championship title in 2023. His most recent call-up was into a United States U-16 camp on May 22, 2024.

Rosborough and the United States U-17 National Team have been placed in Group F of the competition and will play three matches against U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Cuba from February 2 to February 16 in Costa Rica. The top team of the group will advance to November’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
