New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams and the United States U-20 Men's National Team cruised to a 6-0 victory over New Zealand to advance to the quarterfinals of the U-20 World Cup.
Adams logged a full 90 minutes for the US team as his teammates went into halftime with a 1-0 lead and ended the game up 6-0.
Josh Sargent, Jeremy Ebobisse, Brooks Lennon, Justen Glad, Auston Trusty and Luca de la Torre all scored for the US side.
The USMNT team next take on Venezuela on Sunday at 2 a.m. ET as one of the final eight teams in the tournament.
Portugal, Uruguay, Italy, Zambia, Mexico and England are all in the quarterfinals, as well.
