The United States U-20 Men's National Team beat Senegal 1-0 on Thursday to earn three points and move to the top of Group F in the U-20 World Cup.
New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams started and played the full 90, while factoring in the lone goal of the game.
Adams' deft flick to Luca de la Torre on the edge of the penalty box led to a cross to Josh Sargent, who spun and buried the go-ahead goal.
Sargent scored his third goal of the tournament, adding to his brace against Ecuador.
The U.S. now stands with four points after two games played and will face Saudi Arabia on Sunday at 4 a.m. ET to close out group play.
