SST32456

The United States U-20 Men's National Team fell to Uruguay as their run at the FIFA U-20 World Cup came to an end.

A 2-0 defeat in the Quarterfinals were the first two goals the US side allowed this tournament. The US side were the first team to make the quarterfinals stage in four straight U-20 World Cup tournaments.

Daniel Edelman subbed on in the 55th minute, his second substitute appearance of the tournament. Edelman started two other matches and captained the side in those games.

Edelman will return home from international duty ahead of New York's next MLS match on June 21.
