Wikelman Carmona, who turned 18 yesterday, will be part of a 38-player Venezuela Under-20 team that will participate in the Copa Santa Lucía at Barquisimeto, Venezuela between February 25th and 28th.
Head Coach Martín Carrillo has decided to split the group into two teams, so all the players on the roster see playing time over the weekend.
La Vinotinto makes its debut today, February 25th, with games against Deportivo Lara and UCV F.C and will close the tournament on Sunday with games against Academia Rey and Academia Puerto Cabello.
Venezuela’s U-20s are scheduled to have games Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
