In January 2013, the New York Red Bulls and United Soccer Coaches (formerly known as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, or NSCAA) announced an expanded and exclusive partnership. Through this partnership, the Red Bulls are designed as the sole provider of regional United Soccer Coaches courses throughout New York and New Jersey. Both organizations work together to provide easily accessible United Soccer Coaches courses in local communities. On a broader scale, the partnership allows both organizations to collectively work to support coaches at the grassroots level. During each MLS season, various special topics courses are also scheduled at Red Bull Arena, using the New York Red Bulls professional team as an opportunity to connect local coaches to a professional soccer franchise.
